2024-25 Professional Development webinar programming schedule and Continuing Education videos

Continuing education programming is coordinated by the Professional Development and Education Committee. The committee leaders are CSC Executive Board liaisons Second Vice President Patrick Crawford and Third Vice President Matt Panto, and this CSC program is administered by Director of Operations and Professional Development Barb Kowal. Contact Crawford, Panto or Kowal to submit your topic ideas or express your interest in presenting.

Free registration is required to attend live CSC Professional Development and Continuing Education Webinar sessions; sessions are open to all. There are separate registration links for each session in the table below. On-demand sessions will be available via the CSC Youtube channel, with selected sessions available on CSC podcasting platforms. This page will be updated throughout the year as more programming is added.

Rewind: View our on-demand statistical best practices and stats rules webinar series
CSC ran a [series of webinars on statistics](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLa-g29pgu3OsmhrVoMN0NP9CHpPEwu9Y8) best practices and sport rules to know last year, and these sessions are on-demand for all to view and prepare for the 2024-25 seasons. Where appropriate, new sports rules for 2024-25 will also be listed. The webinars covered best practices for pregame preparation for statistics, setting up stat personnel, and post-game reporting; working with your opponents' athletic communications contact(s); the use of proper in-game scoring techniques to register accurate statistics, including: entering starters; duplicate uniform numbers; what sources to use if unsure about a play; recording basic statistics, discussion of difficult/unusual plays, ways to troubleshoot them and the way to accurately stat them during the game; editing game files and sharing info with opponents.
