Professional Development & Education Committee

The Professional Development and Education Committee is charged with coordinating and enhancing year-round continuing education, professional development and leadership opportunities, resources and training to help members at all levels excel as professionals and strategic communicators. The committee is also committed to educating the membership about the current challenges faced by our profession and is responsible for planning and organizing the educational program for the annual convention, working with the Board of Directors and divisional leadership to plan a high-quality program that represents the diversity of our organization. The Second and Third Vice Presidents automatically serve as the board liaisons and as committee chairs to this committee.

Requirements to be on the committee:

• Help plan various categories of educational programming throughout the year
• Plan all educational content for the CSC Unite convention
• Attend the monthly committee Zoom meetings
