CSC U Committee

The CSC U Committee is responsible for educating college students in the field of sports communications. In addition, it assists educators in learning about the profession for potential speaking opportunities from the sports communications professional on campus. The CSC U motto is to "educate educators" and "find our future."

Requirements to be on the committee:

• Attend and participate in bi-monthly full committee zoom calls (30 minutes), occasional longer meetings as needed when decisions are being made about programming
• Participate in one of two subcommittees which typically meet separately about once a month (education / outreach and programming).

The education committee is working on informational “how-to” guides for new and young professionals and does outreach to make connections with sport management programs around the country.

The programming committee puts on 3-4 panels during the year and then also takes the lead on putting together our CSC U Virtual Summit in April.
