College Sports Communicators Hall of Fame

For members of College Sports Communicators who have made outstanding contributions to the field of college athletics communications. Voted on by current CSC Hall of Fame Members.

Established in 1969, College Sports Communicators inducted 39 individuals in its inaugural class. A total of 266 members have been inducted to date including the 2026 class of two former CSC Presidents and Board of Directors members Sam Atkinson (Gallaudet) and Kevin Trainor (Arkansas); long-time CSC members Kelly Bird (Linfield) and Jerry Emig (Ohio State); and retirees Dee Outlaw (West Alabama) and Steve White (Western Carolina). Veterans Committee Hall of Fame inductees represent former athletics communications professionals of distinction from the past whose professional and personal deeds and accomplishments helped make possible the stature of the profession today. The inaugural Veterans Committee selections were named on June 25, 2009 at the San Antonio Convention.
