For CoSIDA members and those interested in athletics PR/communications: here is the full 2010 CoSIDA Convention schedule for the San Francisco workshop (July 4-7). You will find innovative workshop programming and an opportunity to network with colleagues and corporate partners in one of the finest cities in the world!

The 2010 Convention will take place Sunday, July 4 - Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco.

2010 Convention Workshop Registration

ONLINE PREREGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. PRE-REGISTRATION DEADLINE WAS JUNE 11.

Individuals who wish to register after Friday, June 11 will pay ON-SITE at the Convention. Those rates are: $325 for non-CoSIDA members, $225 for CoSIDA members and $225 each for spouses, friends and children.

Dress Code: With the exception of Tuesday’s Hall of Fame Gala (business dress), all receptions, programs and meals are business casual or casual dress attire. Please no tennis shoes, beach sandals, t-shirts or athletic apparel. Your cooperation is expected.

    - Tickets are $26 and must be paid for on site in San Francisco during the annual convention. Tickets will be distributed by Rob Knox on Sunday, July 4 (10 am-2:30 pm) and Monday, July 5 (2-3 pm) in the registration area. Checks for $26.00 per ticket can be made out to "CoSIDA".
    - Each CoSIDA member registered for the conference is limited to purchase a maximum of four tickets.
    - If you want to sit in the same ticket area as some one else, please come together to pay for your tickets or have the money needed for all of the tickets at the time of purchase.
  • TRANSPORTATION TO THE GAME: There is public transportation available from San Francisco to Oakland via BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit Authority). It is about a 25-minute trip from the hotel to the game. You must take the Fremont-bound train, get off at the Coliseum station and use the walkway to the stadium. Round trip fare from the Montgomery or Powell Street stations to the Coliseum is $7.60.

To kick off the Convention activities, an Exhibitor's Reception will take place Sunday, July 4 from noon-1:30 p.m. for all Convention attendees in the Exhibitor's area.

Public Transportation In and Around San Francisco, Oakland Airports

  • One-way subway/train fare via the Bay Area Rapid Transit Authority (BART) from San Francisco International Airport to the Powell Street station (closest to Marriott Marquis) is $8.10.
  • Cab fare from San Francisco airport to Marriott Marquis is approximately $50.00 with tip. The Blue Super Shuttle service - with no discounts - is $17.00.
  • One also can use BART from the Oakland International Airport/Coliseum station to Powell Street for $3.80 each way. There is a bus bridge that gets you from Oakland International to the Coliseum station.
