Suzette McQueen used to sell communication as a manager for a cellular phone company. Now, as Adelphi’s assistant athletics director for external affairs and media relations, she lives it. And she loves it.

Never mind that in the eight years she’s been in the athletics communication business (also known as sports information), the Internet is out of control and the rising expectations for immediacy in results and messaging produce stressful days and late nights. That’s OK, because this married mother of two can’t imagine doing anything else at this point in her life.
