CALL for 2013-14 CoSIDA Board of Director nominations (May 24 deadline)

CoSIDA Members,

Are you interested in becoming involved with your national CoSIDA organization?

The CoSIDA Nominating Committee is seeking qualified and dedicated individuals who are interested in serving in a leadership role on the Board of Directors for the 2013-14 year and beyond.

There is tremendous momentum in - and for - our organization, and we are looking for members from all divisions who have passion for our profession to serve CoSIDA.

Serving on CoSIDA's board of directors is a prominent leadership opportunity within the athletic communications profession.

The slate of candidates will be presented to the Nominating Committee at the 2013 CoSIDA Convention, taking place in Orlando from June 12-15.

Applications should be received no later than Friday, May 24, 2013.

We will fill five Board positions (names in parantheses are those whose terms are expiring):

Third Vice PresidentNote:There is NO longer any regional restrictions on this position, so candidates can come from any region in the country.
College Division Representative - West Region (Steve Flegel- Whitworth)
States in the West Region include: Alaska, Alberta, Arizona, British Columbia, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Saskatchewan, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Yukon Territory.
College Division Representative Southeast Region (Dave Walters - Guilford)
States in the Southeast Region include: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia
University Division At-Large Representative (Ed Hill, Howard University)
University Division At-Large Representative (Kent Brown, University of Illinois)

Members may nominate qualified candidates by submitting a resume and/or a limited number of supporting documents to Nominations Committee Chair (and Past CoSIDA President) Justin Doherty by FRIDAY, MAY 24 at:
