CoSIDA Members Complete Virtual 5K Run/2 Mile Walk, Raise Money for Three Square
5K Fun Run Results | 2-Mile Walk Results
Some completed their first ever 5K. Some were accompanied by spouses, children and pets. All 320 participants came together to do something positive for themselves and others with the CoSIDA/NACDA Virtual 5K Run/2 Mile Walk from June 6-10.
The CoSIDA/NACDA 5K Run/2 Mile Walk is an initiative spearheaded by the CoSIDA Goodwill and Wellness Committee and since 2011 has raised nearly $30,000 for local charities.
The Goodwill and Wellness Committee routinely does a community service project in the host city of the annual convention as well.
To date the 2020 event has raised $4,033 dollars for Three Square Food Bank, an organization on the forefront of battling the food crisis in Las Vegas. Donations are still being accepted until June 24 and can be made by clicking HERE. A $10 donation will provide 30 meals.
The Virtual 5K Run/2 Mile Walk came on the heels of a 10-week fitness challenge where members came together and supported each other in a fun and competitive environment.
