With the future of printed media guides a hot-button topic as part of on-going national discussions on cost-containment in intercollegiate athletics, The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) conducted a membership teleconference, sponsored by TRZ Communications on June 11, 2009 discussing the future of printed media guides and potential NCAA legislation surrounding this issue.
The conference call, co-hosted by CoSIDA President Nick Joos (Baylor) and CoSIDA First Vice President Justin Doherty (Wisconsin), includes a report from CoSIDA Executive Director John Humenik, who represented the organization in a discussion with the NCAA Division I Recruiting Cabinet, June 9.
