Freshman Orientation (for Newcomers to the CoSIDA Convention - regardless of experience level!)
9-11:30 am; Noon-2:30 pm // Palms Registration area table (also 8:30-11:30 am on Monday)

Is this your first time attending a CoSIDA Convention? If so, let us answer your questions and provide some guidance at our "freshman orientation table." There will be a quiz and prizes - the first five "convention freshmen" to return the quiz and score 100 percent will get a CoSIDA prize!

CoSIDA Sam Goldman T-Shirt & Cap Exchange
Noon-4:30 pm // Palms Registration area table (look for t-shirt & cap exchange sign)

PACK SOME CAMPUS or CONFERENCE SWAG to TRADE! Attendees will have the opportunity to return home with some new “swag” as a staple event of many CoSIDA Conventions returns for this year. The newly named “Sam Goldman Cap and T-shirt Exchange” will take place this year in honor of the late Goldman, who was the San Francisco State SID (1957-70, 1985-90) and inducted into the CoSIDA Hall of Fame in 1994.

Participate by dropping off hats and shirts at the Goodwill and Wellness Registration Table from noon-4:30 p.m., and you will be given a receipt showing what items you donated and what you can collect in exchange. Distribution will take place on Wednesday, June 17, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the New York room. It will be first come, first serve during this time frame and you must have your receipt from Sunday to enter and collect your items. The Cap and T-shirt exchange was a staple of many CoSIDA Conventions from the 1980s-90s into the 2000s before it ceased in 2008.
