First-ever #NJCAADay To Be Held Thursday, Oct. 19

For the first time in the history of the organization, the NJCAA will host a day dedicated to its member institutions. NJCAA Day will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19 as the national office will celebrate its student-athletes, coaches, staff, alumni, and fans.
The NJCAA is a proud organization that ensures its student-athletes receive the recognition they deserve, both on and off the playing surfaces. “This is a chance for our members to showcase how great of an organization the NJCAA is,” stated NJCAA Associate Director of Media Relations Ricky Webster. “The NJCAA is one of the premier sport organizations in the United States that is home to some of the top student-athletes in the world. Oct. 19 is a day for our members to highlight all of the great things our organization accomplishes day in and day out.”
NJCAA Day will be an opportunity for NJCAA members and those associated with the institutions to express the pride they have for their school, conference, region, and national affiliation. Student-athletes, coaches, staff, alumni, and fans are encouraged to take to social media using the hashtag #NJCAADay and follow @NJCAA on Twitter. Fans can also join in on Instagram.
Mick McDaniel, presdient of the NJCAA Executive Committee took to social media to encourage those to participate in the upcoming #NJCAADay.
