Lee Interning at UNC Greensboro

UNC Greensboro Sports Information Director Mike Hirschman announced Tuesday the appointment of Kendra Lee to the position of sports information intern for the 2006-07 academic year.
Lee, a native of Fertile, Minn., who will turn 22 later this month, is a 2006 graduate of Concordia College-Moorhead (Minn.) earning her bachelor's degree in communications with a mass media concentration. She served as student assistant for the Concordia Sports Information office from 2002-2006.
During her four years at Concordia, Lee's duties included aiding in the production of game-day programs and team media guides, maintaining web pages for the 22-sport athletic program and serving as head statistician for 10 different sports. Her experience included working with Concordia's football, volleyball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, baseball and softball teams.
In 2005, Lee served on the media relations staff at the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Elite Eight Tournament held in Grand Forks, N.D. She assisted in production of game-day statistics and served as an aid to the working media.
She also worked as an intern at KJXB-TV in Fargo, N.D. as an undergraduate, editing highlights for nightly newscasts.
At UNCG, Lee will serve as the primary contact for women's soccer and wrestling and will assist with men and women's basketball among other duties. Her appointment was effective August 1.
