The Little East Conference will honor 11 individuals as the Hall of Fame Class of 2014 in October, including former long-time UMass Dartmouth Sports Information Director William (Bill) Gathright. Gathright, who served at UMass Dartmouth for 31 years (1973-94) will be honored posthumously as he passed away in 2004 at the age of 54.

Gathright was the first SID at UMass Dartmouth where he served as founder of the Corsair Athletic Hall of Fame. He also as part of a small group of administrators instrumental in the creation and growth of the LIttle East Conference in the 1980's.
