The College of New Jersey has selected Lyle Fulton (Oswego, NY) as assistant sports information director. Fulton replaces Nairem Moran, who served in the post since the fall of 2000 and has left to pursue her master's degree at the University of South Carolina. Fulton will begin his new position effective immediately.

Fulton comes to TCNJ after serving the past five years as the sports information director at Oswego State University. While at Oswego State, Fulton directed the Lakers’ 23-sport program, overseeing all aspects of the sports information office. A 1991 graduate of Utica College of Syracuse University, Fulton is a former sports writer for The Palladium-Times (Oswego, NY) and the former editor of the Valley News (Fulton, NY).

In addition to his role as SID at Oswego State, Fulton has also served as the results auditor for the Empire State Games since 2002 and assisted as the liaison for men’s soccer for the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC). A member of Oswego State Athletic Hall of Fame Committee, Fulton is a member of both the Eastern College Athletic Conference-Sports Information Directors Association (ECAC-SIDA) and the College Sports Information Directors Association of America (CoSIDA).

During his tenure at Oswego State, Fulton served as the host SID for the 2003 NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey Quarterfinals as well as a 2005 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball second round contest, while also hosting numerous SUNYAC Championship events as well as the New York State Collegiate Wrestling Championships.
