What a week of celebrating communication and creative pros in college athletics! A big thank you to everyone who joined us in recognizing our members during the sixth annual CoSIDA Membership Recognition Week we held from November 3-9.
This year we heard from athletic directors, conference commissioners, coaches in all sports, SAAC groups, colleagues from other areas such as sports medicine and facilities & events, media members, our corporate partner friends and many others, as they celebrated with us.
Each year this event gains more and more momentum and it's exciting to see the love, appreciation and geniune thank you's. Remember, even though the week is over, showing appreciation is something that should happen year round!
The CoSIDA staff especially thanks the members of the Membership Recognition Committee chaired by by Amy Yakola (Atlantic Coast Conference/Committee Chair) and Tommy Chasanoff (Cumberlands/Committee Vice-Chair).

What I’ll leave you with tonight is this. The best part of this job is the people. You make friends across the country and these individuals are more than just good SIDs, they’re great people. To all of you who have impacted me, thank you for the influence you’ve had on my life. #ThankYourSID
My unsolicited advice: Give out love and grace abundantly. Everyone is stressed and life can be hard, but when you hand out love and grace a little extra, it just might change someone’s day. Be kind to everybody, always.
