In the fall of 2017, CoSIDA’s Diversity and Inclusion committee collaborated with Oregon Public Relations professor, Dean Mundy to take a survey of our membership regarding Diversity and Inclusion. The survey, put together by Mundy, was interested in gauging perspectives of collegiate sports information professionals regarding the role diversity and inclusion plays in our daily professional lives. In so doing, this study hoped to respond to the growing call among public relations practitioners and scholars to take a lead in diversity and inclusion initiatives.
