The conversation focused on the ways allyship is a process of building relationships with marginalized individuals, co-workers and student-athletes and examining your own ideas and biases, and "unlearn" and re-educate yourself. The conversation revolved around:
- discussion of what Allyship means
- why being an ally is of utmost importance
- how someone in athletic communications can practice Allyship and the steps involved in doing so
- the power and importance of storytelling when it comes to hearing from those under-represented and marginalized
